After experiencing mental health struggles, 16-year-old Christian Hall wanted other young people going through similar situations to know they were not alone. “I'm someone who didn't always feel confident in myself and didn't always feel my best,” he said. “It pushed me to care more about myself and inspired me to spread positivity and love to my community.”
"I shared my story, and it related to others, and that inspired me to get more involved in mental health."
Christian realized the power of his voice when he used his struggle to support others who were experiencing mental health issues. "I shared my story, and it related to others, and that inspired me to get more involved in mental health," he said.
Now Christian uses his Mental Health Blogger platform to promote mental health awareness and share resources to his platform of over 12k users on Instagram. He's passionate about creating a space where people can share their feelings and support those in need.
As an exceptional Gen Z'er making an impact, he was honored for his work in the Mental Health space through The ConversationaLIST. “I advocate for mental health because how we are feeling matters, and we should put mental health in the forefront of our priorities,” he said.

Christian believes that everyone has a voice and a purpose behind it, even if they haven't yet. “Use your voice for good and find something you are passionate about and advocate for it,” he said.
Looking ahead to the future, Christian wants to continue to use his platforms to help as many people as he can. "I want my legacy to be helping others in need and letting them know that they matter and have a purpose in this world," he said.
Christian is grateful to The Conversationalist for creating a space where everyone can use their voice. He points to Geneva's Mental Health room as an essential resource for the community. “It is an honor to be involved in productive conversations with others that are using their voice for good,” he said.
Christian wants the next generation to know that their voices matter and that no one can silence them. He believes that Gen Z can build a more unified world through meaningful conversations and understanding each other’s experiences. “A unified world to me looks like a world where everyone can use their voice for change and be heard,” he said.

Christian encourages his fellow Gen Z'ers to set aside time for self-care, especially amid the pandemic. “Taking the time to check on yourself is very important,” he said. “Self-check-ins on ourselves are so important during the day or the week. I check in on myself throughout the day and ensure that I'm putting how I feel first. Finding the space to think positive and relax is important as well.”
We’re rooting for Christian Hall as he uses his voice to make others feel less alone. Keep up with him on Instagram to learn more about Mental Health Blogger.
